Nine Fishes 鱼

A special collection of nine fishes (鱼), inspired by the Cantonese phrase ‘play fish’, a playful nod to abundance and leisure. Sashiko needlework ripples across its indigo body and when the bag is filled, the tail and fin flap like it’s swimming. Crafted from vintage or dead-stock fabrics sourced in Penang and Yunnan (China), each pouch reflects Torri’s Gate commitment to repurposing and giving new life to forgotten material.
