Harutoke cats brings warm feelings into the daily lives of those who receives them. The words "Hare" and "Ke", represents a traditional Japanese worldview. By creating special "Hare" days within the monotonous, repetitive daily life of "Ke", the purpose was to add richness and vitality to life and regulate the rhythm of daily living.
Made with stone powder clay, each cat is hand sculpted and finished by Haruka Yamaguchi in her studio in Aichi, Japan.
