Azuma mini - neon green

In 16th-century Japan, Edo citizens admired Western-style bags and created their own azuma bags, meaning “eastern,” using kimono fabrics readily available to them. Inspired by this resourceful tradition, sAto brings this ancestral wisdom into the present, creating azuma bags from upcycled materials such as abandoned sailcloth, old kimonos, and fabric scraps.

Reversible, lightweight and water-resistant, each sAto sail bag is made from durable, repurposed sailcloth.
