Kindling's first issue runs the gamut from serious to silly. On page 60, Ann Babe asks readers to interrogate why so many support orphanages abroad who wouldn't at home. On page 24, they launch an irreverent investigation into the gruffalo's parenting style, written by a father who has clearly taken one too many trips into that deep dark wood. The back section of the magazine, Fun Stuff, is full of activities to do with children—like all of the suggestions in Kindling, we've designed them to be as accessible as possible.
